The picnic this year was a blast, super hot out though, so people said. Lol, I personally didn't mind, I was running up and down the park racing Andrea. I got 129 pictures, lol, so I need to sort through them and pick a choice few to upload so I don't spam your inboxes. There were some really insane ones, I mean, uber professionally handmade ones D:

They asked me to judge again, rather, Kyla asked for them, lol. I didn't mind, it was a long process though. THe whole thing went by way to fast though, I'm sad it only comes once a year. I have a gimped up sunbrun where I was wearing my sweatband, lol.

So know that I can mark Pence off my list, I've been thinking of my cosplays. I was thinking I should pull out Kyouraku and fix him up a bit, BECAUSE SOMEONE WON'T SHUT UP ABOUT THE LENGTH OF THE PANTS EVEN THOUGH I PWNED THEM IN THE CONTEST AND WON FIRST PLACE. Lol. Then again, I thoguht that would involve sewing,a nd I hate sewing, I don't even know how I did that whole Kyouraku costume. I'm thinking of HalCon 2010, it's a convention right across the harbour from me, and it lasts three days. So I was thinking for two days I have Zack Fair and Saix, and now I'm thinking I'll make a Snow cosplay, from Final Fantasy XIII for the last day. Either way I need to finish/start Zack for Halloween. I can worry about the others later. Although I would be cool to make Snow for the release of FFXIII...but first I need a PS3, lol.

Anyway, I'll get those photos up in the next few days, and get to these 16 deviations ASAP.

And summer continues...

Today was the cosplay photoshoot planned by Kyla, which included her, Beau, Michelle, Andrea and I. It was super hot out, despite the name "sweatband", it does not prevent you from sweating. I was just glad to get back in my street clothes, with the Worlds here and everything, the city has even more prying eyes than usual, lol. Michelle adores those odd stares she gets; they make me uncomfortable. Maybe I just need a costume that I'm comfortable in, that is to say that I feel I look good in, lol. I felt so naked without my necklaces and bracelets though, I'm always wearing my wooden cross and worn bead necklace on my neck and my dog tag around my wrist; beats me why my dog tag's around my wrist. Speaking of jewellery, I've found an interesting store that was listed as a sponsor for the big cosplay super picnic Sunday; "Morrigan LeFay's", and it's right down next to the ferry terminal too. Really, I should be writting up a resume, not looking for things to spend my lack of money on. My friends Marina and Rebecca work across the mall at Zellers and they told me they were hirering. At this point I've stopped caring about uniforms, and think it would be fun jsut to work in a place where I know people. Maybe I'll drop off a resume tomorrow...and maybe check out Morrigan LeFay's, lol.

When I started writing this, my friend on MSN asked me why I write so many journals, lol. Forgive me for spamming your inboxes with stupid information about how my summer is going, perhaps I'll have redemption by taking a buttload of photos at the super picnic? Atleast that way I'll have SOMETHING up. I don't really feel like drawing, I don't have any ideas, or maybe I'm too lazy. I don't know, my drawing schedule is effed up, it seems when I want to draw I can't, and when I don't want to I may come up with something decent. I'll try, that's all I can promise, lol.

Now that Pence is finsihed, I need to start on Zack and Saix. If I do start Saix, I'll probably do a casual Saix like Michelle does a casual Demyx, that saves me the stresses of an Organization Coat, for now. Although I don't know what Saix would wear casually...dark colors...soemthing with class, maybe just a collared shirt, I dunno, lol. I suppose I should indulge Michelle, Rebecca and Andrea, maybe I'll wear a collar for casual Saix... Either way I'll start something, get something up, pictures,d rawings, cosplays, something. Don't lose faith in me yet, lol.

...I think this is a title of one of my other journals...well this time it is literal and invovles dogs, lol. And Technically it was a day...more like four hours.

Man, I was up at 8:30AM, which is weird because as usual I couldn't fall asleep; it's probably the earliest I've actually physically woken up and was aware of my surrondings, lol. Then at 11:00 my aunt, who's birthday was today, dropped off her (and her roomates) dog; Kaiya. She's somekinda energetic. She's a mix; part husky, part lab, and she's about seven months old. She's beautiful. She has a golden lab coat, with those deep husky eyes and tall husky ears.

Right off the bat I took her down to the lake, Banook is hosting the '09 iternational canoe races, so I was sure they'd be loads of people around on such a sunny day to adore Kaiya, girls are suckers for a guy with a cute dog...actually...I was hit on more with an inflatable boat at the beach than I was with a dog on the lake... Boat: Maybe A Dozen? Dog: Zip, keep that in mind, lol. After I got maybe quater way aroudn the lake I headed back to the apartment, stopping at my friend's house to show her Kaiya. The day before I said I was gonna go out and buy a dog fromt he SPCA to pwn her new puppy, and I think she thought I was joking, lol. Man Kaiya was rabid at Andrea's house, I got wet dog stink all over me trying to calm her down.

After Andrea's I headed back to the apartment, I figured I'd give Kaiya a break and feed her her lunch; the only problem was I had forgotten my keys and Jai was out with her friend at a cottage and my mom was volunteering for the canoe races. So my only option was to walka round the lake until I found Mom and got her keys, which I did. It was pretty fun, everyone comented on how beautiful and friendly Kaiya was, it broke my heart to say it was my Aunt's. After about, what, maybe an hour, hour and a half, of walking, and having Kaiya jump around the lake, I foudn my Mom. Turns out she was at the entrance to one of the canoe club, which was pretty much a 10 minute walk from the apartments, instead of an hour walk around the lake...but I had fun. Kaiya would jump around the lake, scooping up water on her way back down from a jump.

After finding my Mom we sat there with her for awhile, Kaiya and I were pooped; so Kaiya lied down chewing on a stick, and I chugged a bottle of water...sweet, sweet water that I didn't have on me. Ironic, surrounded by water, but not a drop to drink.

Mom said dog looked good on me, and that if we were renting a house I could have one...I eprsonally don't believe that, but hell, it's good to know I can make dog work on me. Anyway, got the keys, got back to the apartment, feed Kaiya, she fell asleep, at one point under my bed, lol, it was adorable. My Aunt jsut came and got her a few minutes ago, so back to a dogless life, lol. I probably should get back to my Pence shirt, my Mom bought me more fabric markers, so I'm all set for the photoshoot Friday.

My Dad was in, both Saturday and today. Saturday we went driving; totally drove his car into a sign post... I was talkign to him and concentrating on parking straight, and totally was oblivious to the sign post at the front of the space, which ironically was a parapalegic parking sign or something. You can still see the marks of the psot on his bumper, but he didn't mind, my Dad's a cool guy, pretty mellow. Don't get me wrong, I get my temper from him. He was also telling me about what a doctor told him way back when we first moved out, and he was on anti-depressents. The doctor said that his body was using up the Serotonin faster than it was being made. Serotonin affects one's mood, aggression, appetite and sleep. This was interesting to me because all of those things are way out of wack for me; her I was feeling bipolar, lol, turns out my body is just a greedy son of a bitch for Serotonin.

Then today he, my sister and I went to see [link], it was pretty good. Before that I was off at the mall and Value Village with Michelle and Andrea. While at the mall we went into HMV and Repo was on sale for six bucks. Andrea was dying for it, and I figured it was cheap and I don't have many movies, problem was it was rated 18A. Michelle totally had her doubts, but I knew I could do it! I slicked back my hair, I undone a few buttons on my shirt, and I marche dup there and bought me some 18A rated gore! Was totally the chest hair...chest fluff...shut up it's there, it worked! Well, that or they really don't give a shit, lol. Andrea could have probably gone and bought a copy, and she looks like a little 13 year old girl, lol. Point is I look older than I am, people say that a lot to me... After the mall we went to Value Village I had to pick up a few last minute things for Pence, which I got, then we went around tryign stuff on for the hell of it. I found a waist coat and blazer, and ended up buying them, lol. Must admit, they look good. I may not recognize the person in the mirror anymore, but I can atleast appreciate his looks for once. Granted, that can change any day, thank you Serotonin 8D

Seems this week is gonna be pretty dull, not much to do. I guess I'll just put my nose to the grind stone and finish my Pence costume so I'm ready for Sunday. I have everything I need, just need to put it all together. Untill then I think I'll parade around in my waistcoat and blazer, I do look very smashing in them, lol.

Hmm, only three months late, impressive. I would have thought it would take a lot longer before I got my Learner's, lol. Actually, it would have if my Mom hadn't prompted me to get up at nine in the morning and drive me down to Access Nova Scotia. Of course, that was two days ago, the first time I went we didn't have my birth certificate. We had to go down town and buy a new one, hazaa, I finally know that I was actually born. I'm not super excited, it's only a driver's license, although I may scan because the picture is decent and I just one to show someone it, lol. Mom said she'd take me out later tongiht so I can practice, should be good for a laugh, cause God knows I love to drive me a standard xD

So, to add to my llist of things I should be working on, I now add a new cosplay. So far I have Pence from Kingdom Hearts 2 and Zack fair from Final Fantasy XII, and now I add Saix from Kingdom Hearts 2, Organization XIII. My friends have planned out an Organization XIII cosplay and they ideally want to fill up every position, so we have Number VI, Zexion, Number VII, Saix, Number IX, Demyx, and Number XIII, Roxas. It should be epic for when 358/2 Days comes out, we can all sit aroudn in cosplay and play. I kick myself know for volunteering though, the fangirls have made a sorry state of Saix...I spit on you Saix Puppy... i mean, they butchered the reputation of a real kickass bad guy! Saix is described as such; "He is a calm and collected man who shows no emotion, belying his extensively cruel nature.", that's totally me, lol, I depise all and show nothing!!! Not "aww, it's a puppy! Go get the stick Saix Puppy"...along with this, my friend who is Demyx holds it to me that I have to be nice to her because I'm Saix Puppy, and therefore Demyx bitch. Screw you I say, Saix is not some cute, happy, absent minded puppy! He is cold and emotionless! And that is why I choose Saix, but really, it doesn't matter, the fangirls butchered all the other memebers of the Organization, too...Like the friendship of Axel and Roxas...why must you ruin the games I so love fangrils? Why must you ruin our nerd happiness? Either way, I'm following through with this, I'll show them who Saix really is! Granted this is a suicide journal since the majority of my watchers are female, and a couple are indeed fangirls sharpening their pencils for the ever closer AkuRuko Day...see, I kick myself for even knowing what that is.

And that is my rant to the rangirls, lol, enjoy. Now I will... I'mnot really sure. I have no fabric to make an organization coat, no way to order a wig offline for Saix, and pretty much can't work on any of my cosplays at the moment...I guess I'll go back to FaceBook gaming...or maybe Chain Of Memories...gonna be butt raped by Vexen again.
